Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

Carlkey58,

Thanks for that link. I did not know that there was such as thing as kindle for pc reader.

Reg,

I followed your link but Amazon says that it is $12.98 in the US or £8.39 in the UK for the kindle edition. Am I doing something wrong?

Best wishes,
Steve

Just as I thought - it was a mistake on Amazon's part and they corrected it. Lucky those who got the book :)

Looks like they have indeed put the price back up (I see it at $9.99 now).

I don't think it was a mistake as I believe Amazon regularly put ebooks up for free for a limited time (or number of downloads) as a promotion. You just just gotta keep your eyes open and be very quick.

I hope some of you guys got a chance at this one.

Cheers,
Reg.

Hey I got it for free! Guess it was my lucky day!

You can get all sorts of e-readers for free for the PC or other platforms. I have over five of them on my pc - just because sometimes you can get it in one format but not any others. My personal e-reader is a Nook - with the WitE rules loaded.
