Yeah, been keeping up with it for some time. It's a pretty good board game conversion, but it's still pretty much in the early stages.
There are a load of other attempts at BT conversions, some dead for some time. You can check them out at Sarna and BMP (among other places).

ToS rules though :)

Just started checking out MM, its not as slick as ToS is and nothing like we hope the next version will be.

But still it can grow on ya. And one can't argue about the price. Being pre release 1.00.00 though it is kind of rough.

Looks like they have campains already though :)

I tried a campaing on MM. It wasn't really much of anything. Just a premade map and two teams with the mechs already picked out. No goals written anywhere so it just seemed liked you fight to the death which I could have done without the campaign.
I guess I am hooked on TOS for now. I have made a team and they suck but I still have fun when I win once in a while
The one think I like about MM is that it is in java so I can go in a tweak stuff and it doesn't take much to get started. I think the manual and the tutorials could be better for TOS and I would like to try and make one before school starts.

I tried it, and it was ok i guess, got someone else to try it with me, crashed the first few times but finally worked. It doesnt end when Team 1 kills all of the other team's mechs (me and the guy were on one team against 2 bots on another team)

ToS ownz it :P

Seems if you download the ".net" version you get a newer version than if you just download the play version.
Don't know why they don't copy the client over.

Anyway the newer 26.13 or so does end, but the real fun is
playing the campain version on the web. What it does is add a chat room and a reporting system to allow your team and mek stuff to improve.

After a couple of fights you can join a house and attack in a Mek raid, if you win you can steal a Mek or more depenind on the size of the attacking lance.

Or you can attack to gain a percentage of the planet again depending on the size of the attacking lance.

You can get into some large battles I saw a guy lauch an attack with like 4 lances or 16 attacking units.

Anyway its gameplay isn't as good as ToS but the campain will draw people because of it.
