Anybody going to Historicon?

Post by pacwar »

I realize the members here are literally worldwide, but there seem to be a few that live on the East Coast of the US...Matrix has announced the are attending Historicon, a historical miniatures gaming convention in mid July. Although I love Command Ops my real passion is miniatures.

I'll be running a WWII skirmish game, Chaumont, using the Bolt Action (Osprey) rules...Patton's Bastogne relief force runs into the Fuhrer Grenadier Brigade. I'll also be running a 40mm Napoleonic and American Revolution game using the Carnage and Glory computer moderated rules...if you've ever wanted to give miniature wargaming a try the Carnage and Glory systems do all the hard work, all you have to remember is how far your units move and what is effective range for musket fire...the program handles all calculations for musket and cannon fire, as well as taking fatigue and morale into account...if you play the period you'll have fun. Hope to see you there...I can't wait interrogate the Matrix brain trust.
