CRC check failed

Hiya I have the problem CRC check failed re installed deleted etc.about 3 times.Win7 64 bit and registry cleaned with Lavasoft registry cleaner.

What puzzles me is I do not get the option to change the installation folder it keeps reinstalling in the first folder I put he game in which was my Games folder and it did not let me choose another folder eg C:\Games\Panzer went straight into C:\Games,wether this is the problem not sure need help.Downloaded and installed demo to C:\Games\Panzer ran fine.

Another try the main game installs to C:\Games as I do NOT get an option to change installation folder.

Afterthought my first download was an unable to run so redownloaded after disabling virus.

I already replied to your helpdesk ticket.
I'll repeat the procedures over here. This is for Windows x64 versions.

The cause of your issue is the Panzer Corps demo. You cannot install Afrika Korps with Panzer Corps demo installed, otherwise the game will install as an expansion and not as a stand alone and you'll receive CRC error. Please do the following:

1. Uninstall Panzer Corps demo
2. Download the file attached to this message an unzip it
3. Run the extracted file (PanzerCorps_ClRegKey-x64.reg) and click on yes to any authorizations request you receive to edit your Windows registry (forget generic registry cleaners)
4. Install Afrika Korps
5. Run the game and check if the issue persists

In the case of Panzer Corps, yes, it's me who have mostly done the support in both Matrix and Slitherine forum.
I belong as well to the Slitherine/Matrix helpdesk team. [:)]
However with other games, the case can be a little different; the forums might have different support teams.
In the end, you've done well in contacting both... and the most important is that you've your issue fixed. [;)]
