Question from a 'newbie'

Hi,

I'm new to this website and was wondering if someone could offer me some advice.

I was thinking of purchasing Panzer Corps then noticed that Allied Corps had recently been released.

Having played Panzer General in the past, would it be better to play Panzer Corps first and then move on to Allied Corps?

One other question: apart from the obvious, could someone tell me what are the essential differences between the two products.

Panzer Corps has the german focused campaigns while Allied Corps focuses on the allied campaigns. Basically the same game engine, just different perspectives.

So, it sounds like that apart from the different perspectives, there are no essential differences in terms of gameplay or underlying features.
