Stunning. Absolutely stunning.

Stupid, simple question with a potentially equally simple answer, though: In the numbered list in Picture #2, why is Neptune (Neptone?) listed before Uranus?

EDIT: Fixed some formatting

The "Neptone" is a typo, yes. This screen is a concept we did with the UI artist, but we're planning to replace the legends and use some other way to identify the planets. So don't worry, I don't think it's going to make it into the final game (or even the beta version!) [:)]

Beautiful screens! [&o]

I am also excited to see the Pioneer Sun probes. These spacecraft provided early warning of Sun activity for Apollo (astronauts walking on the Moon could get back to the LM for at least a little bit more protection if a flare was coming).

Ah, excellent. I wasn't really worried, and I'm sure your software QA is better than mine. :) Thanks for all your hard work!

Well, on that Mars Cycler video, I see two plates. Is that something inspirited by the Orion nuclear spacecraft?

Hehe, you're right, it looks like the Orion spacecraft from the 1950s! However, the plates have nothing to do with nuclear propulsion: they are called SEP modules, which is an acronym for "Solar Electric Propulsion".

Hello all,

A repost of what I have written in this other thread in case you missed it!

I've exchanged a couple of e-mails with the guys from Slitherine last night and they told me that the conference went really well! In the next couple of days they will start posting the announcements that have been made at Historicon and all your questions will have an answer.

Well, would SEP cause that the mission duration is longer then traditional liquid fuel missions (or even nuclear engines)?

Its awesome btw, I love it [:)]
