for someone who likes to do an AAR for Germany at War it might come in handy that in addition to the savegame the minimap of each turn is also saved.
With these minimaps you can show the course of events with almost no effort.
You have to know that your savegames are located at
C:\Users\YourName\Saved Games\Germany at War
Then open a tool that can create animated gifs. For my example i used the webbased application: http://gifmaker.me/
Then i selected the minimap .pngs of the my savegames of the battle of Kiev, let the tool do its work and saved the gif to my desktop.
In no time i created the picture embedded in the post. It could be a nice addtion at the end of an AAR.
