Spainish Civil War Maps????

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Spainish Civil War Maps????

Post by Omegaunit »

Hey has anyone designed any maps dealing with the Spanish Civil War?

I was thinking of designing a map of Madrid ( university city ) from the river to the city center, but i figured i would ask if its already been done before I spent two weeks designing a map.

Hi!

There is a french club with a Spanish civil war campaign in it. They have lots of spwaw maps. They have Madrid as well, maybe not as detailed as you would like it to be, but their landscaping is fantastic. I advice you to examine them.

Here's a large map of Madrid I made long ago. I hope someone can use it.

Look for words, "SPWAW" and anything resembling "Scenario" or "Campaign".

Click on the scenairo name (seems like it was "Madrid") and the entire scenario will be downloaded to your system.

I was curious about their rendition of Madrid and downloaded it very easily....... and I know very little, actually nothing, of the French language.

There are some very nice maps at this site. Don't give up. It is worth the trouble.

Thanks for the map redleg
and the french site really does have some nice maps and scenarios

one tatic to get it into english is to type the exact url into the goggle search box

then the results which will all be of the exact page will have an option where you can translate them
