Any chance in an update or is the game dead?

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Hi, there are some people that stay in the shadow, sometimes the forum seems dead but it isn't...I think we're
all awaiting for the patch but I don't known (noone knowns) if it become real or not. I never stopped to play
this great great (did I say great? ah, ok, great) game. About the editor...no chance.

I believe any idea of a patch is dead in the water, sadly this is typical of many Matrix games. The devs who brought the game back to life get so smothered that they dont seem to keep the development moving.

It would be nice if they could allow access to the engine if someone with the right "qualification" was interested.

Biggest problem is Jeff, the game won't bring any new customers in - if it does its not enough to afford the development of it. I've bought my share of dead on arrival games (a few from matrix) and appalled I didn't wait it out before buying, but games like this I can see so much added to it I dunno why they stopped.

Yep, the potential is immense.

Given what started as UV, grew into WITP and then WITPAE with their multiple mods, BTR offers a similar scope to modders.

Changing the mix of aircraft used (Bomber Command in daylight?) and possibility to start at least scenarios earlier (1941 in France?) or the Luftwaffe sticking with the 109 only.

Or more/better pilots, player choice of base and aircraft, not having the game make changes (happens to the Allies, same for the Luftwaffe??)

IMVHO, the Allied player needed a bit more interaction within the game turn, abandoning raids if the weather changes, forcing raids through in bad weather.
