Quick question on fleet modules

Post by Balkor Wolf »

If a ship in a fleet is equipped with the Fleet tracking enhancer and fleet counter measures, does that stack on top of ships if they already have the singular versions of them equipped or does it take whatever is the highest bonus?

Ive been having a hard time debating of getting the higher bonus ones or having a dedicated ship to offer slightly less bonuses but giving all other ships room to add different modules, does anyone use the fleet modules and have experience with it?

And on a similar note does anyone have much experience with the Area shield recharge? I've never even unlocked it before but I'm curious of how effective they can be, especially if all ships in the fleet are equipped with them.

the ship module affects the ship. One fleet module affects all ship in that fleet. Multiple types don't stack (-ie tow ships in same fleet with fleet emc, yada won't stack.) Bottom line. Each ship should have best ecm (def/attk) you can afford installed. And, at least one ship in the fleet should also have best fleet wide ecm (attk/def) installed. I generally make my fleet wide ecm ship the flag, give it stronger defenses, and tell it to stay back (engage at max range). My admirals go here. Never used area recharge...don't know.
