Scenarios

Civil War 2 is the definitive grand strategy game of the period. It is a turn based regional game with an emphasis on playability and historical accuracy. It is built on the renowned AGE game engine, with a modern and intuitive interface that makes it easy to learn yet hard to master.
This historical operational strategy game with a simultaneous turn-based engine (WEGO system) that places players at the head of the USA or CSA during the American Civil War (1861-1865).

Scenarios

Post by Duck Doc »

Planned are 2 smallish size scenarios, Shiloh & Bull Run and maybe one medium size out west (yawn) then the monster size campaigns. I would love to see some medium size scenarios over a limited time. Has been a recurring theme in AGEOD releases. Some of us don't have the time or energy to devote to the whole campaigns but would love to play smaller (medium size) scenarios. I'll bet you'd sell a whole lot more. How about Vicksburg or Lee's invasions or Grant's western incursions, for example?

Hate to say it, but I imagine the answer will be... DLC.

They started doing that with the AJE/BOR releases. I'll be happy with the grand campaigns I guess, but it would be nice to have some smaller stock scenarios that are with the core release. If I remember right, ACW 1 had two '61 campaigns, a campaign each for west and eastern theaters, an Atlanta campaign, plus tiny ones for Gettysburg and Shiloh. I'd be thrilled if those were all in the initial release for ACW 2, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

PON is first game of Ageod to do some dlcs I think, I remember that time they are in Paradox, so maybe EXP from Paradox[:D]
All I want is pls not too many one-scenario dlcs just like HPS ACW series[&o]

I can easily see them adding different start points for the game, like 1862, 1863, etc.
