The Longest Day - WitP Tracker version

Post by Numdydar »

I know that many here reset their Tracker data every 3-4 months of game time so the program will load faster. I just did not want to do that as I like having the entire game history in one file. Of course there is a price for that [:)].

I have from December 8, 1941 - December 27, 1944 in a single Tracker databae. I leave this up all the time, however window's updates has a tendency to reboot at times. I just had to restart Tracker and it took, drum roll please,

64 Minutes [X(]

Pretty amazing lol. The two main Tracker databases are a combined 3.2 G (1.6G each) in case anyone wondered.

So now you know what it takes to keep everything in one Tracker file for a game [:)] And we are still not done yet so it will only get bigger. Depending on how long I can hold on as Japan [:(]

Mine is taking just under 1 second per turn, 91 seconds for 98 turns. So 1600 turns should only take about 27 minutes. I let you know in a year and a half.

Absolutely [:)]

Obviously I try and schedule a restart of Tracker in my 'down' time so the delay is not impacting my play [:D]
