Product Requirements

Folks-
I see that 1.5 GB RAM is needed to play under product requirements. So does Unity of Command, and that runs well with 1 GB RAM. Does anyone know if AT gold would work with only 1 GB RAM?

My guess is that 1GB RAM would work but the performance may not be so good (i.e. slow turn processing by the AI/slow game loading). That said I have a 2GB RAM laptop and it performs reasonably well on it. Your videocard plays a part also. Here is my analogy of PC RAM:

16GB or more: lungs of a long distance runner
8GB: lungs of a person that maintains a healthy weight and gets some exercise
2-4GB: lungs of couch potato
1GB: lungs of sickly person

I think if you still have Windows XP it should work. But not 100% sure.

ATGold runs fine on my Windows XP. (not sure how much RAM I've got...)
