Mission Targets

Post by Geckomeister_MatrixForum »

Hi,

Any chance under the unit status section - and under the Mission line, there could be a target list (if applicable)?
For example, if I have a number of flight groups all with different targets, it would be good to click on the unit and then see the mission type (like you have) as well as a separate listing of the targets they are attacking, per unit.

Can I also ask that for each target it shows a distance to target?
It would be nice to have the same information if a missile has been launched, to show the target and distance to target.

Not sure if this deserves its own thread but is there a way to deallocate weapons when performing manual targeting. I wanted to change my mind on the number of Tomahawks I allocated to one target but couldn't find a way to do it. Couldn't find a way to cancel either. BTW, I think you guys have produced a totally absorbing simulation and for the complexities being modeled, I think the program is more bug-free than a rational person can expect. Also, your group's efforts on this forum are commendable. Congratulations on a soon to be classic.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah there is a couple of ways you could do it.

In the right click on unit menu, under attack options you can disengage and drop target.

If you are in the manual allocation dialog just click on the weapons listed in the weapons allocated list on the left.

Thanks jjdawgs
