Patrol Area Question

How can I keep my units from moving out of the patrol area?

I ask because I was playing the Korean War scenario and my HMS ships kept wandering out of the PA and into the range of coastal gun batteries.

Yes you can. In the mission editor pannel, just uncheck "can investigate outside patrol zone". It's with the "1/3" rule button.
