Question on AAW missions.

Post by GBS »

What if I have a CAP mission planed with 4 Tomcats, 2 groups of 2 planes. I want 1 group to go up and the other to stay ready on deck. When the flying group is bingo or winchester or shot down I would like the 2nd group to scramble up. Can this be set up in mission planing? I think Harpoon had this feature.

You can set up 6 Tomcats to do this with the 1/3 setting. A third in the air, a third transiting to/from and a third refuel/rearming.
