Terrain mods?

Hi folks,

have there been any terrain mods for BFTB? I seem to recall only seeing come for the older COTA game...

For instance I do not much like the city texture (the square houses are too arbitrary, so the whole city then looks too uniform when zoomed in). Perhaps something like a simple shades-of-gray texture for cities would be nice... And the likes also for the other terrain...
