Where can I get hold of the game files?

Empires in Arms is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. Empires in Arms is a seven player game of grand strategy set during the Napoleonic period of 1805-1815. The unit scale is corps level with full diplomatic options

Where can I get hold of the game files?

Hello,

I purchased EiA on PC back in 2008 when it was originally released. After many harddrive crashes and changes of PCs I no longer have the game files to install the game any longer. I do however have the receipt, installation code and all other info to prove that I own the license to play the game.

How can I get hold of the game files now after many years?

I must say I find it very old fashioned to not be able to download the game files like on Steam, Gamers Gate and other PC game selling companies. The policy of "if you lose your installation files you are screwed" can hardly be a winning one in the long run.

If you have your installation code, register the game in the members area. You should then be able to download the installer and then the comprehensive v1.08.07 patch. Enjoy!

I have the installation code and I have registered the game in the mamber area since long. And one would think what you suggest that is how it should work yes but alas it isn't. Matrix games only provides the game files for 2 years from the date of purchase and all I can download from the members area is the "Empires in Arms Tutorial Guide". Are you able to download the installer from the members area? I mean hopefully there is something I have missed but since customer service have informed me that they have made the installation files unavailable to me I don't see how I can download the files from Matrix any longer.

The customer service suggested that I should purchase the game again but needless to say I am not going to spend another 75$ dollars for a product I already own. I intend to acquire my licensed and registered installation files without further cost as consumer rights dictates I am entitled to.

Help desk was able to assist me with this issue and provide the files. Do not contact the sales company through the support area but Matrix own support desk and they can assist you.
