kirk23 let me make absolutely crystal clear that, as I've said before, your ship art is fantastic [&o]

but sadly

I am not interested in mods for the simple reason I do not really understand computers and I cannot be bothered with mucking about with integrating "stuff" into a game - something that I will no doubt muck up due to my ignorance.

I just wish the gamemakers would insert your ship art into the actual game, at least for those ship types that they intend to use.

Hi warspite1, unfortunately my mod cannot be integrated into the standard game, to many things would cause conflict, and the game would just crash on loading, as an example naval wise, I have changed the name of most the ship types, Battleship to Dreadnought for one. To play the mod all it requires is a separate install and your ready to play.

That is a real shame [:(]. Mind you, unless the new patch fixes the significant problems with the last patch, its all a bit academic anyway.

Looking on the bright side, you will be more interested in the release off WORLD IN FLAMES in the not to distant future, and I'm sure that will take up most of your gaming time.[;)]

With the new patch being worked on at the moment, which contains a number of enhancements, I'm putting my huge mod on the back burner, to allow me more time to assist with the patch development.

We must be coming up for the 1st anniversary of this game - how long until the new patch please?

To play the mod all it requires is a separate install and your ready to play.

I am a bit like warspite in that I am not too clever with computers. When you say a separate install of your mod is required, does this mean that, in effect, you would have two completely separate versions of the game on your PC that could not "contaminate" one another?

Is there any chance of you writing, at some stage, a short "idiot's guide" to using your mod for players like myself and warspite? Thanks.
