Off topic: Slitherine vs Matrixgames

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Sorry, it's a little bit off-topic but how does Slitherine relates to Matrixgames ? Last days I went to Slitherine web and all titles were the same I can see and buy at Matrix's.
Thanks.

Slitherine owns Matrix (and Ageod, for that matter)so they're essentially all one and the same..

Gen. Freyberg: "Well, if you wave at them they'll usually wave back."

OK thanks. I would have thought the opposite that matrix owns Slitherine.

I knew AGEOD is now part of Matrix portfolio after been abandoned (or so) by Paradox. As a French I really respect Philippe Thibaut and his original Europa Universalis board game (don't like too much Paradox PC game remake. Real time's ruining the game IMO). A EU turn based game would be absolutely fantastic. Anyway, it probably won't happen (Philippe si tu me lis?) ...

I'm a long time supporter of AGEOD games. I'm happy they joined Matrixgames/Slitherine as I'm confident they will find effective support.

So now I understand why I find similar titles on both Matrix and Slitherine e-shops.
It's a bit strange they didn't merge all brands in one single unique trade name / website.

Slitherine bought Matrix out..they are really called Slitherine group. Matrix is really just the American side of Slitherines business.
