new Beta

Post by millersan »

Sorry if this has been discussed but I can't find any info on just what the new 2013 Beta changes. Upgraded a few weeks ago and can see a few changes but would like a list if one's out there. Most pressing is if the supply push out of India was addressed. It's fall '43 in my PBEM game and my five Jap divisions were bounced out of Burma by 15+ allied divisions (equiv) being supplied through the jungle, across un-bridged rivers with (as you know)no rail lines. Is it assumed the allies build a few interstates through the jungle if they build up the bases on the border to the max??
If all this has been answered just point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Mark

There is a PDF included in the Beta. It gets put in the same 'Beta2' folder.

Hi Folks,

I prefer to think of it as maneuvered the Japanese out of position!

I have maxed out all the bases (port/air/fort) along the Burma border. And continually run convoys from CT and Abadan. However... it still feels to easy to supply those forces. I haven't been using sea supply and haven't built up Ramree Is. as a logistics center.

Cheers,
Guy

Thanks.........took a look at the "read me" file and while the new upgrade does a number of good things it appears the supply push out of India was not addressed. Perhaps a house rule is needed for the next game.

It's addressed just fine in scenarios where the supply cap is used.
