Helicopter Dipping Sonar

Gents -

This has probably already been answered, (did a forum search)but:

1) Can I manually order a Helicopter to use dipping sonar?

2) or if not, does the ASW mission AI use dipping sonar? I suspect that the answer is "yes", but thought I would ask.

Am playing the "Caribbean Crisis - the Prelude", (available from the Mods forum) - outstanding small scenario that taught me much. Very original and enjoyable (if you survive...)<grin>

1) No. We've got a request in on this but we have to figure out a way to do it realistically. Helo's go through a procedure to do this so need to somehow enforce it.

The dipping sonar question is interesting, it is certainly something I would like to control, including placing specific waypoint for the helo to search at.
I am going to play this scenario tonight and see what happens the first time, and when I replay it tomorrow.
Starting that scenario now.

You sorta can by manipulating the waypoints in the search area. Not perfect but its there.

Patrol mission pick a random point.Hit the F3 button and it will pick a new point.
