Surface radar detection discrepency

In Sea of Fire, I can sneak my Etendards @50m to within at least 40nm of the UK ships w/o being detected (see attached picture).

In contrast, all of my A4's (also at 50m altitude) were never lost by the UK Bedstead radars anywhere inside of 120nm.

Not sure why this is? The A4s even have a smaller radar signature.

Do me a favor turn the A-4's toward the ships and see if makes a difference?

Thanks Mike. The A4's contact status stayed pretty solid on the Brit side (with a tiny bit of positional indeterminacy due to the low altitude)

I'll rerun it tonight to make sure it's repeatable. If it is, I'll reply here with a .save file.


EDIT--I think everything's fine. I think I must not have had the A4's @50m b/c I cannot reproduce this situation...[:o]
