Unable to run the software.

Installed the software, updated DX and .Net

Installed V1.01 update

Did manage to get it to function properly once.

Tried many reboots and a full re-install, still no joy.

It seems the software runs in the background properly as it shows on Task Manager, so maybe a Display issue.

Help!

Same with me, the starting window works, all keys accessible, like the manual, the support, the update check... so I updated into 1.01 but... the play key leads to... "CMANO has stopped" !!! After a few seconds. I restarted computer, no change. I desabled Norton, no change. Note that I have win 8 and a brand new computer with all recent versions of any software the programm wanted to install.

I had similar issues on my previous pcs with distant worlds and the excellent WITP AE, it has always been a mess to launch my favourite matrix games.

The problem is that my computer are almost Virgin/empty each time, no sofisticated softwares or professionnal softwares or stupid visual games, only wargames.

I suggest to developp OS versions of matrix games... PC's Under Windows are unmanageable.
