cannot move or set reinforcements

I ordered CoH on 10/13/13, received it promptly and installed it. It looks great, reminds me of Squad Leader and ASL. Everything seems to function just fine, except when there is a flashing blue area on the map. I can left click & pick up a unit, use CAP's, use cards, fire on & hit/kill enemy units, rally my units, hide, prepare a hasty defense, everything, except move. When I left click a unit it displays in the lower left area of screen & is surrounded by flashing blue hexs which it can move into. When I right click on the hex I would like to move into, a light brownish arrow appears showing the desired move, then nothing happens. If I hold down the right clicker a camera appears. Nothing ever moves, & the move doesn't show up in the game dialog. My mouse works just fine, both right & left clickers. Any suggestions?

Had a wireless mouse that was working without a hiccup until CoH. Disconnected it, put a wired mouse on, game works just fine now.
