"Day of Infamy" Speech Sound

Post by Von Rom »

Please find attached Roosevelt's "Day of Infamy" speech sound file. It plays for 26 seconds and is 286 kb in size. It will play whenever you select a scenario and whenever you load a saved game.

This .wav sound file is number 1015.wav. This wav file occupies the same number and position as the "General Quarters" sound file. Therefore, if you want this "Day of Infamy" sound to play, please be sure to back-up your "General Quarters" sound file, as it will be over-written.

This way, by having both sounds, you can interchange the "Day of Infamy" sound file with the "General Quarters" sound file whenever you wish.

Simply download the 1015.wav file, and then unzip it into the following directory (based on the default installation path):

C:\Matrix Games\Uncommon Valor\SOUND

Have fun!

"a day that will live in infamy" must be one of the most remembered phrases ever. The irony is, this wasn't in the original version of FDR's speech. His first typed draft read "a day that will live in world history". He hand wrote the change for the final version.
"It is also possible that blondes prefer gentlemen"
