Air Strike Timing

Post by Radagy »

I was wondering why the default timing of an air strike is 40 minutes after the request instead of 30.
I have to manually change it every time and it makes no sense to me.

Very well could be a bug. Can you get a shot the next time of the game clock as well? What scenario is that? I'll try to give it a look tonight in between manual writing sessions.

Here is another screenshot with the exact time.
The scenario's name is not relevant. It always happens to me every time I call air support.

I'll go with annoying feature here and see if I can sweet talk a 2.02 fix for this with Rob. If not it will make 2.03.

I spent some time last night back tracing this in the code and was left scratching my head. I have it in our bug tracking system and will chat with Rob later today about it since the offset is being generated by the event caller. It may be that the early time shown is wrong. He will know better than I.
