Are snorkeling subs visible to radar?

I don't think so, but it would be something cool to implement. :)

Yes, the periscope can be detected by radars who have the ability to search for periscopes (not many of them).

IRL yes of course.. in the game, it seems so as well, have seen with helos using search radar.

Not the periscope, the Snorkel head.
This was apparently possible with 1950s tech.
