Any response from Matrix on Harpoon development

I was wondering if Matrix had any kind of plan since AGSI announced the end of Harpoon development.

My understanding is that Matrix's plan is to keep selling Harpoon. And obviously Command .

As far as Harpoon Classic (HC, HCE, HUCE) goes, we will continue to support the game at HarpGamer.com and will occasionally make additional attempts to acquire rights to continue developing the game itself.

Guess my signature needs an update (last HC programmer!)

Thanks for the info Tony. I should probably wander over to HarpGamer and refamiliarize myself. I've been an on-again off-again player since back when 360 Harpoon release.

IMHO, there will still be plenty of content from the community for Harpoon even if Matrix stopped selling it tomorrow(I hope they continue to sell for years to come, as there are just so many great reasons why people should play this game). That is the beauty of the scenario/db editors. We even have a way to play multi-player ANW (in real time!). As a community we're very fortunate to have so many dedicated content creators, database editors, and players. There is more out there for Harpoon and even more being released every day. I feel I will never be able to play all of it even once, and that's awesome! [8D] Long Live Harpoon!! [:)]
