AtB: General Petrov crashes on start

When I press 'start game' on this scenario it consistently crashes with text shown in the attached image. It says 'object reference not set to instance of object. at...'

Which version of the game are you running?

It's 1.30.4907.19379, which is the one I got from updating after a fresh install.

I've uninstalled after getting lots of crashes when selecting scenarios.

Same problem as PKH. Same version of COH. Downloaded v1.31 hotfix from your link and played scenario with no problem (other than I lost badly as Axis)! Thanks for fix!

I have ver. 1.36. I assume I don't need the hotfix. Just curious.

If you've got V1.36, then you won't need the hot-fix.

I checked the Matrix website for v1.36 but could not find it.
So do I use the hotfix or not?

I had that same problem, and was at v 1.30 as well. I downloaded and applied the hotfix eric linked to in his post and it solved the problem for me.

Yes, please try the hotfix and see whether that helps.

I had the same issue. I got a refund. If this ever gets fixed let me know. I enjoyed the game just couldn't handle that it wouldn't work.

Happyloaf, if the problem you had was with this specific scenario, I updated to the latest patch (v 1.3 I believe), then i downloaded and installed the hotfix that eric posted above
( ftp://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/Conflicto ... x-v131.zip ).

this fixed it for me.

Eh, I'll pick it up again for 10 bucks or if I can get a demo of the scenario. Getting a refund was a pain as I spent over 20+ hours of my own time trouble shooting it.
