PBEM Management Program

Post by Barney »

I'm not sure if I've seen this talked about. Is there such a thing or has anybody come up with a way to deal with multiple (or single) PBEM games? The zipping and unzipping and copying to folders and keeping track of different games can be a bit cumbersome. We obviously all do it with no problems, just wondering if, since this game rocks for PBEM, Matrix or somebody has or would write a program for PBEM management? Just curious, thanks!

Barney: Ibrought this up early when UV came out that the Pbem helper did not support UV and still does not. I don't think the pbem progam can as long as there is a replay file(001) that can be overwritten by any game that is played. The game can be so long that a separate game file must be saved in order to allow other games to be played.

Hi Guys

We are hoping to change the save file size and attempt to make it more easy to use with the PBEM Helper. Great program by the way.

Yep,

The settings supplied with PBEM Helper definitely do not work though there is a workaround at http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23364.

David, there are a couple of comments on the UV file structure and PBEM Helper there too.

Cheers,
Reg.
