Holiday Sale Problem

Post by mbishop »

When I go to place an order, I fill out the top part correctly, then it turns all red in the 'shipping to another address' section. Then when I fill that out (with the same info as the top part) it just deletes that info, stays red and I can't get past that part of the order form to continue. Any one else stuck at this point? This has been the worst holiday season ordering process ever. I can't believe all the bugs and issues and even I had one and that's unusual for me.

Please try with a different Internet browser. If you are using Inter Explorer please check with the compatibility view enabled.

VPaulas, Tried that, I reset compatibility view. Didn't work. Same results. I can tell you that this is a new system with Windows 8. Don't like it. Old system blew up, some sort of virus I think. When I got this up & running, Microsoft wouldn't let me in to use my old Hotmail account. Used to be on here with a different user name, registered a long time ago. Have a bunch of Matrix titles on the book self. Since first posting here and your response, put in an order with Amazon. No trouble at all. Same CC, just a different e-mail address ... Definitely not happy [:(] [:@] [&:] [:(]

Can you take a screenshot of the issue so we can pass it to Plimus with your operating system and browser and version. The increase in issues I think is related to the sheer volume of traffic. The last 2 months have been the busiest we've ever had and so even if the % of people having issues remains the same we get more issues reported. However we do want the process to be smooth for everyone and will work to find out what is causing these issues.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the earlier Emails, and for the details you sent me. I will certainly try to recreate the issue in my lab, and see how to best resolve it soon.
May I ask which browser you are using (name and version)?

update:

Just back from another attempt to recreate this scenario in the lab. So far, no luck. Would it be possible to trouble you for a screenshot of the issue? I'd like to help, but without recreating this in our lab I cannot proceed.

Thanks,

Assaf
