Oil multiplication bug

I guess it must be easy to replicate. During the set-up phase for USSR, set up oil. Move it to another city, bam, it doubles. Move it again, it doubles again until it reaches the stacking limit.

This happened by mistake in my Barbarossa scenario for Germany. The 4 oil became 14 after the align minor country phase during impulse 1. Had to destroy the whole stack of stored oil points

There is another way to do get more oil in Global War.

During setup, setup your oil in certain cities then save the setup. Start a new game, setup your oil in the same cities then hit 'restore setup' and load your old save. You now have twice the starting oil at the start of the game. i.e. a 2-oil oil marker in your cities.

It would appear that when the game loads a setup, it adds oil to existing oil markers (if they exist) rather than replacing them.

I have done this with both Japan and Germany with v1.07.

Just had the same thing happen to me. Global War scenario. Went to place German oil. Put a second oil on top of a first and they doubled. Started clicking on them to move them and they doubled again and before I knew it 3 became 14. Just left them a later got a message about over stacking and destroying some oil.

Yet another trouble with oil. I guess you have to exit the game and start the set up over from the last save if you place oil and then decide you want to change locations without replicating oil points unfairly to start a game.
