How to install expansions?

How to install expansions?

I have had the base game for several years, but just bought Rise of Rome. I downloaded an 82 MB file of some kind called FoGRise and received a serial number. Unfortunately I have no idea what to do with them!
I have installed the latest update so I think I just need to enter the serial number somewhere - but where?
