Training Flights - supply burn?

Post by coxville »

I am early in the Japanese game and want to build as much skill as I can into standing squadrons. Does a plane on a training mission use the same amount of supply as a combat mission. Particularly does a ground bomber use the same whilst training as it does whilst attacking(because that is expensive). thanks Chris

According to the manual, it is 1/3rd of a supply point per plane for any mission other than offensive or escort missions.

As it is per plane, I assume if a group is partly flying offensively and partly training then the costs will be calculated based on what each plane does. However, to be safe could put the whole group on training.
