No prompt for retrofit

I started up a new game with .13 today and I don't get a prompt for retrofit anymore. I have ship design automated and prompt for retrofit checked in the empire policy but whenever I get a new tech the prompt doesn't pop up. Am I just missing something or do others have this issue too?

I've been seeing this since the .12 update and did mention it in that updates thread but no-one picked up or commented on it so thought it was just me. It still is a problem with .13 and I've been retrofitting manually, like you the policy to prompt is checked.

The retrofit prompt works fine on my game. I don't think I'm doing anything differently on mine than you are on your's.

My retrofit prompt stopped working, but I used an old game save to continue with (pre-1.9.0.12). Have not tested starting a new game yet, I know this is preferable to verify if it's a bug or save game mismatch. Will do that soon.

IIRC, my game was new and started on the .12 beta patch. I have pulled it in to .13 and was going to start a small .13 test game to check.
