Does ACWII have any more map areas in the east than ACW? In ACW I always wished for more maneuver area in the east.

In the east? You mean the NE I guess. What for? I don't think the Confederacy can send their hordes all the way to Maine and Vermont.

But yes, you have more land than in ACW.

I guess you want to know if there are more "regions". I would say no, but I am not sure. The game also includes the Far West. A sideshow but it creates an atmosphere [:)]

And the NE region, but as I said, quite irrelevant. I don't think the Confederates plan to pasture in Vermont.

Thanks. I did mean regions but I haven't played ACW for 1-2 years so I forgot what the proper term was.

Anyway, for those of you who know American micro-geography: are the game "regions" [real] counties?

Oh, and come to think of it, the NE may be important in case of foreign intervention I guess.
