Supply question

Post by celebrindal »

Ok been awhile since we played, but after a few scenarios etc this one seems to have us stumped.

How is the HQ still in supply.. fyi the picture taken was without the troops moved up. I moved the 8-4 and 9-4 to either side of the HQ, and the 9-5 armor into swamp nw of the other HQ to the south.

At no point was I able to put Tim out of supply even tho every hex he traced to for rail should have been contested or through a contested hex.

Assuming the weather is clear (supply path = 4 hexes), Timo can trace like this:

1st hex - swamp hex SE of Timo
2nd hex - swamp hex between the words "Pripet Marshes" and "Pripet"(in blue)
3rd hex - Forest hex NE of Yeremenko
4th hex - Yeremoenko (secondary supply source)
Yeremenko traces to Kiev along the rail line

If you had moved the 9-5 ARM piece NE into the swamp, Timo would be out of supply as the ZOC from the ARM piece would cut into the forest hex NE of Yeremenko.
