Hi All,

I just joined your community and look forward to getting to know all of you and playing some SPWaW.

I have owned all 3 SP's and have played off and on for awhile. I just recently got to thinking about playing again, and figured I would check on the web to see what was up with SP...TADA!!!..
I found you guys and a brand new version of SP and a whole new following... Cool. I have the game downloaded, and it runs great, although I am having an issue playing online games. I posted the question in the Tech Support forum. I look forward to getting that resolved so maybe I could hook up and play one of you all sometime. Thanks for the Great game and community.

Welcome to the thriving community of SPWAW! I also recommend you to download the Head to Head mod by Panzer Leo, if you have enough time. It's just great.
Play PBEM games and write reports on DAR/AAR-forum. But never venture the Art of Wargaming. Never never never.
But overall - have a nice time!

Nice to see yet another fan. SP:WAW is the finest version of SP in my opinion, you'll notice as you play along. We're sitting tight waiting for what Combat Leader will reveal...

If you're having trouble finding online players, get yerself over to the Opponents Wanted forum, you'll always find someone eager to pick up the glove in a PBEM game. And like Jacc said, look up the AAR/DAR forum. The threads are mostly very entertaining. (as in "I-snorted-coffee-out-my-nose-reading-them-entertaining" )

Welcome. Once you try PBEM, you will be addicted all over again. It's a whole new game playing against a real person.

I noticed AI can be predictable in responses at points, and other times suprising! But, you are correct, there will be no finer or challenging time then playing against a human opponent.
