Inability to access scenarios

Inability to access scenarios

In Scourge of War Gettysburg certain scenarios can not be accessed until a preceding scenario is completed. I am unable to complete these scenarios to satisfy this requirement. If this is due to not saving the first scenario how do I do this to satisfy the requirement

I have tried every way to save previous scenarios so that I can comply with games requirement. I have stopped and saved at the announced end of the scenario, I have continued on to the ridiculous, and I have saved under all kinds of names in hope that computer would recognize that the scenario has been completed. My numerous attempts show on the saved game list, the high scores list etc. No success.
