Map error

Hi,

I'm running the latest beta with the extended map. Something obviously isn't right. The map art has to be there because we see the tip of Oman in the picture like we should. But the base icon shows up in the ocean. I downloaded the art files again from the website and copied them as well as the pwhexe.dat, pwzone.dat and pwzlink.dat files to my install. No change, it still shows up like the picture I'm adding to the post. Anyone have any idea?

At a guess, it looks you are trying to play a standard scenario (like scenario 1) which isn't designed to fit the extended map. Try firing up one of the Babes scenarios using that map and you should be fine.

Is it one that has been designed to work with the extended map?

You got it. I'm running off the wrong install for that scenario. I figured it had to be some simple and dumb mistake.

I have the same issue with scenario 30c. Babes team is looking at it.

Mine was a user issue, meaning me making an idiot mistake. I was running an extended map incompatible scenario from my extended map install.

Good luck with your issue though!
