Update 1.04 is coming

Germany At War: Operation Barbarossa 1941 is an elegant turn-based design, inspired by classics such as Panzer General, but with more of a historical focus. You command the German forces through a branching historical campaign covering the entire 1941 campaign as well as part of the 1942 campaign. Dozens of scenarios stretch from the Soviet border all the way to Archangel and towards Astrakhan, the original military goals of Operation Barbarossa. Step into a wargame where your performance will rewrite history, through an addictive combination of compelling gameplay, realistic events and challenging battles.

Hello Templer,

1.04 will see the first official release of the Script Editor as well as plenty of stuff for it to play around with.
Besides the changes i already commented across this forum there will be several fixes of minor issues (e.g. "vehicle range was available after abandoning them" ) and some new stuff, but thats secret for now. [;)]

I am intrested about this game. Wondering if there is supply routes modeled in any way? I mean is it possible to surround an enemy (other than placing
a unit in all 6 hex around a unit). Units should be able to trace a supply route from its supply source city or depot before it can reinforce. But if it is
cut out of it by an enemy ZOC, it should not be able to supply an unit. It should also suffer larger ammo/fuel usage while surrounded.

This is one of the most important thing in the wargames in time of the Barbarossa. The German army surrounded a lot of Soviet armies in a large
pockets and then annihilate them. It gives a good tactical element in strategy games.

there is no such feature in the game, just restrictions according to neighbouring units and the detailed supply rules.

Hello Ralph Harper,

Can I continue my campaign started with version 1.03 after updating to 1.04?

we included a new feature that evaluates your campaign performance and adds medals/skulls next to missions and campaigns to show the success. This can cause trouble to savegames of the three small campaigns (Barbarossa, Case Blue and AGN) but should work fine with the Grand Campaign.
