Try the 483-build (http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3515117) which has fixed this issue for many players.

Hm.. haven't seen that error earlier, sorry. You could try and see if the relief layer (Map Settings -> Relief Layer) works better. If not I think you need to get some developer help on this one.

When installing, did the BMNG & relief tiles unzip fully?

I had no problems with the installation, without any warning ...
I also tried a full new installation, with the same result.

I don't understand the meaning of the warnings about Visual Basic in the first screenshot ...

Could the problem be Framework Net 4.5 (until release 1.01, with Net 4.0, everything was OK)

If yes, how can I manage the problem ?

I do have the very same problem.

Played a while with 1.0.0 - without problem. Decided to patch since i heard it was improving performance. I used the provided game patcher. That raised me to 1.0.2. Tried to launch, it did not worked - i have the same screen than above.
I tried to repair framework 4.5 and DX - restarted. Did not work.
I tried to reinstall framework 4.5 and DX - restarted. Did not work.
I tried the last build. Did not work.
I tried to reinstall the game. 1.0.0 - I do have the same situation, game start, no map appears. During the installation, the game installed the maps, i checked that.

Please, do you have any suggestion to make that great game working again?

Make sure you've installed to the latest patch

Delete your command.ini file and restart.

Dear Mikmyk,

It still don't work.

I uninstalled everything.

installed CMANO v1
installed DX and Framework 4
Rebooted
installed CMANO v1.02
installed Framework 4.5
installed 484
restarted.
Deleted command.ini
Still no working.


Argl Framework has killed me.


weirdest thing is - V1 was working. It's not working anymore even if i try to set up as before. I did not installed any software or hardware than the mentionned above.

After literally hours of battle against my computer, i found out the solution. I tried to downgrade the resolution (I don't recall which one). Then the game started correctly. I closed the game. reverted to my usual 1600*900 res. Game still launch.


It seems for some reason the graphical engine did not appreciated my resolution.

If dev team wishes to investigate the issue and need further information, the can fell free to contact me

It's real absurd. The game doesn'accetpt an higher resolution xxx x 900 at start; I have to downgrade, launch and then I can restore my resolution ... ridicolous ...
