MAC USERS: Unable to get past splash screen

i have a 1 year old mac book pro running paralells 7.0/windows 7.0....unable to get by the splash screen and play the game.

have tried the hot fix to no avail.

am a longtime matrix guy, but if i can't play the game i'd like my money back.

not using boot camp, just running windows on paralells 7.0

other matrix games, like gary grigsbys war in the east work just fine.

help!

Are you hearing the intro music at the splash screen? If not, there may be some issue with your windows emulation and sound/media player.

no, i definately hear the music and its incredibly frustrating as ALL i can do is listent to the musuc. the splash screen is like at 200% magnification and i have fiddled with the screen res on the mac and in windows with no success.

Sounds like the problem I'm having on my PC.

I wanted to rule out a sound related bug I read about with some Mac folks on the Command forum. Sounds like the game cannot read the screen size parameters properly. I'd give Queeg's solution a shot.
