Zoom levels

Is there a way to change the zoom levels? The one closest in is a bit too close, and the medium one is a bit too far.

I agree. Of the 3 zoom levels only the most zoomed in is useful to me and it is too big. Not to mention the information windows and map interface crowding the map.
