Cancel Build order?

Post by JonBrave »

Total newb: once you have clicked to build something in a city, is there anyway to cancel it??

Also, while I am here: this forum only show 1 page's of posts, back to 2/28/2013 --- is that really all the posts that have ever been made/available?

In the hope that anyone still reads this forum...... :)

Search the PDF manual for "backspace", page 26, 34, 198:
'backspace' - undo order given to a unit or city

Thank you, that was it!

OK, for anybody reading, you can undo city build orders. The bit I didn't get was: even if you have gone into the city view to do the build (as I had done), you must come out and go to the map view, then press "Backspace" to undo build orders. And, while we are at it, the "undo" still goes backward through all your builds/moves one at a time, e.g. if you did a city build, then did some movement and/or other city builds, you have to undo all the movements first to get to undo the build, then redo all the moves etc. Which is the weirdest "undo" mechanism in a game I have ever seen!
