2:00 Issues & Questions

Post by Lakeman »

Installed new release 2.0. Loaded an existing campaign. Windowed the game.
Issue is the range of movement for the mouse, the mouse uses the full screen range to scroll the game board within the window. I have the window positioned at the bottom right hand corner. To scroll up I must move the mouse to the top of the physical screen not the top of the windowed game. Is this the design or a problem?

(emphasis mine)

It is the design.

As for your other problem, sorry to hear that. What Operating system are you using? Sorry for saying the obvious, but have you tried to uninstall-reinstall after the error?

I am running Windows 7 64 bit with dual screens.
I installed over the old game, I will uninstall and reinstall fresh and see if it resolves the issue. Thanks.

Yes, at least one other dev team member and I run 2.00 on XP without problem.

Note: When attempting to install the 2.00 Update patch on Windows XP, you might encounter this:

Ignore the warning. Just click on the OK button to continue with your install.

But also note: Microsoft is finally (!) dropping support for Windows XP in April of this year. Because of that, we don't formally support this game on XP. Informally, we do. And for now, everything runs fine. But we can't guarantee that going forward.
