Can't get out of Prod Planning Prelim

Post by willhenson »

HELP ME!
I'm not sure if this is a bug or my own stupidity.
I started a game and once I get into PRODUCTION PLANNING PRELIMINARY phase the button goes gray that lets me click on to the next phase.

I went back and reloaded an older save, same thing happened.

Anybody got a fix?

Use the buttons on the bottom of the form on the screen. The "end phase" button in the Main Form is disabled in these phases.

Yes you can't get out of Production Planning until you have clicked "close" (on the prodution form) once for each major power.

Many of the phases of the game use forms for you to enter your decisions. Production Planning is one of them. In all of those cases, the end-of-phase button on the Main form is disabled, and instead there is a Close Form (or OK - Done, or something similar) on the form. That let's you end the phase (or subphase).

Note that closing informational forms (e.g., the Pools form) doesn't end a phase. But pure decision forms do.

Some forms have a dual purpose. For instance, when there is a new die roll for weather, you need to close the Weather form to advance the phase. But if during an impulse you open the Weather form to check the weather, then closing the weather form doesn't end the phase.
