Question on Support Weapons

Post by jcrohio »

Page 42-43 of the game manual states that "all firing units within a hex that are activated in the same impulse engage the same target." It then goes on to state that the exception to this is support weapons with to-hit tables on the back. They must fire separately at the same target or "fire at another target altogether." This implies that a squad carrying an anti tank rifle can fire at a an infantry squad with its own inherent firepower and in the same impulse fire its anti tank rifle at a vehicle. Am I reading this wrong because i have not been able to do this. I am limited to both the squad and the anti tank rifle, though firing separately, both firing at the same target. If I should be able to do this can someone explain how.

Thanks

No the squad firing the to-hit SW must fire at the same target as the to-hit weapon.
It's everyone else in the stack that can shoot elsewhere.

but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"
