Don't install the MG42 sounds they tend to pose a problem with the later version of SPWAW for some gamers on some systems.

Thanks guys. The Matrix link only goes to Chandra tool, and to "update" patches..Not looking for either one..Specifically,I am seeking the alternate weapon and artillery sounds that used to be posted on "SPWAW SOUNDS"(which was actually a website until recently),and Greg McCarthys great (and only genuine MG42 sounds that I have heard so far)..This particular sound patch runs fine on my cpu..(Stock Compaq 7360 with 310 ram,10gig HD..)..Greg's MG42 sounds had been on Armor Site(I believe,And I believe the alternate German OOB had been on Tankhead's)..(Possibly by Panzer Leo??)..Help??

Hmmm. I wasn't aware of this. Maybe I can fix them.

The MG42 wav files have an unusually high sample rate:

sample rate: 32000
8 bit
stereo.

I had to use this technique to get the unusual tone quality
and fire rate.

These work fine for me under 7.1
What would be the preferred file characteristics?
